One of the nodes showing the method of hanging the floor beams. The stainless steel pin ties together the vertical strut and the eye bars which constitute the lower chord. Also visible between the eye bars are the added U-bolt braces added as additional support for the lower chord. Longer U-bolts are hung from the pins and a steel plate held near the ends by the nuts. The floor beam rests on this plate. Also visible are the sway braces between the floor beams and the diagonal braces which help to keep the truss from collapsing. |
