Bridge C804 Harlan School Road over Tributary
of Chambers Brook
This bridge is on a local road. The existing bridge was a prestressed box beam design. It was completely removed and replaced by one consisting of concrete abutments and wingwlls, and a wood superstructure. The deck is made of laminated wood slabs 18" thick. The span is approximately 27 feet. The parapets are also wood. All the wood components are pressure treated. The deck is paved with blacktop. On the north side, a sidewalk was built of paving stones, and meets the concrete sidewalk on both ends of the bridge.
