The deck is made of treated glue-laminated wood planks. This is then paved with an intermadiate course of blacktop, a membrane sealer, and a top course of blacktop. The deck panels are bolted to the floor beams with a stiffener bolted midway. Also visible are the adjustable sway braces between the floor beams. As can be seen, the guide rail posts are bolted through the deck.
